Victor Osimhen agent is forced to speak out amid shock Manchester United links
The agent of Victor Osimhen has spoken out on Twitter amid rumours linking his client with a move to Manchester United.
Roberto Calenda took matters into his own hands after it was mooted by Gianluca Di Marzio that Jorge Mendes was ‘trying to broker’ a swap deal involving Victor Osimhen and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is obviously very keen to bring an elite centre-forward to Old Trafford before the transfer window slams shut next week.
Napoli hitman Osimhen would have been the perfect option as far as we’re concerned. It seems as though United don’t have any chance of signing him this summer though…
Victor Osimhen agent speaks out amidst Manchester United links
The 23-year-old striker’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has taken to Twitter to completely dismiss a report linking his client with a move to Old Trafford:
Described as an ‘explosive’ striker by The Sun, Osimhen is one of the very best around. Last season, the 23-year-old bagged 18 goals and six assists in 33 games for Napoli.
Osimhen possesses all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League. He’s strong, incredibly quick and is 6ft 1in tall. The Nigeria international has many years ahead of him in the game as well. Napoli value Osimhen at around £80 million (The Mirror).
Despite the fact that that fee sounds really expensive, we think it would actually represent good value for the forward.
Unfortunately for United fans though, it seems as though the striker is set to stay with Napoli, for this upcoming season at least.
That’s what his agent thinks anyway
