Accoring to recent updates, Leny Yoro will be permitted to maintain his original number 15 shirt following signing from Lille to Manchester United.
United confirmed Yoro’s arrival on Thursday, after reaching an agreement with the Ligue 1 club worth £52 million.
He has been using the number 33 shirt ever since he made his Lille debut at the age of 16,.
However, the 18-year-old moved to number 15 ahead of the 2022/2023 season.
Yoro does not have to ask any of the existing United players for the number. Sergio Reguilon wore the number 15 for the Red Devils on loan last season.
Reguilon has returned to Brentford after the agreement was cut short in January.
The number 15 shirt at Old Trafford is perhaps most closely identified with Nemanja Vidic. Recently, Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira have donned it for United.
