Kelechi Iheanacho, the new Sevilla recruit, has disclosed that Victor Orta, the team’s sporting director, assisted in persuading him to sign with the La Liga team in Spain.
In his first interview with the team on Thursday, the Nigerian attacker stated that Orta was a major factor in his decision to join Sevilla during the summer transfer window.
Iheanacho just agreed to a two-year deal with a one-year option. The 27-year-old is the team’s seventh summer acquisition.
In his words “Victor is a great guy. He really played a big role. He’s been watching me for a long time now and he knows the striker am.”
“He’s been doing a great job for the football club as well That is why it’s not really hard to do all this. So, yeah. So, Victor is a nice human being.”
