The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, has acknowledged that Karl Hein might go on loan this summer.
Arteta says the goalie needs more time in the field.
Hein recently made an impression during Arsenal’s friendly victory over Bournemouth in the United States.
He made two saves in the penalty shootout as the game finished in a 1-1 tie.
When asked about the 22-year-old’s future, Arteta responded as follows (via the Evening Standard):
“That is a conversation that we are having at the moment. Obviously, David and Aaron are away at the moment and we are really short in the position.
“We want to develop our players, especially a player like Karl with a big potential and a big future ahead of him. He needs to play games, so we are going to explore that option as well.”
