After Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, was accused of not taking part in the ongoing “End Bad Governance” rallies, Nigerians refused to let him leave.
After the musician’s prior encounter with FCT minister Nyesom Wike, he was accused of having government allies.
It is hardly unexpected that Nyesom Wike acknowledged the musician from Porthacourt following their Grammy triumph for Best Global Music Album.
His mother disclosed that her son had also been promised land, which he says was never done. As a guest on Channels TV, the singer’s mother, Bose Ogulu, addressed the issue in an effort to allay Nigerians’ concerns.
She said that since Burna Boy was honored and not asked to perform, no money was handed to him.
She continued by saying that her son was distinguished since he had won the greatest award in his industry.
