Amidst the ongoing nationwide hunger protest, Nigerian artist Portable has lost over 100,000 followers due to his offensive words.
In a widely shared social media video, Portable claimed that there were no protests in Sango, Ogun State, where he lives.
Significant criticism resulted from his words, with many fans threatening to abandon him if he continued to make divisive remarks about the demonstration.
Within 24 hours of the singer uploading the video, more than 100,000 followers unfollowed her on Instagram due to the threats.
Remember that Portable compared himself to billionaires Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote in a prior video and blamed the protest on a poor mentality.
