Burna Boy, a.k.a. Damini Ogulu, an afrobeats artist who has expressed missing his former self.
The “Last Last” singer claimed that the new him is incomprehensible to the old him.
He claims that the new him is “soft” because he isn’t always furious.
Burna Boy posted this on his X handle: “The new me misses the old me. The old me can’t even understand the new me and thinks the new me is soft for not being so angry all the time.”
Burna Boy has since clarified why he “shunned” fans even after declaring on July 29 that he will be releasing a new album titled “12 am.”
Burna Boy contended that he simply provided the time and not the date in an X post on Sunday morning.
He wrote, “Ladies and gentlemen, A valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said 12 am, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o Na una lose guard.”
