Martin Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has taken shot at Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, claiming that Wike tried to intimidate #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protestors by confining their demonstration to Abuja’s Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
VDM alleged that the demonstrators, who are not football players, had no business gathering at the stadium.
Just before police used tear gas at the Berger Roundabout in Abuja on Friday, Otse invited President Bola Tinubu to consult with the protestors about their concerns.
He threatened to personally report to the police anyone he spotted acting aggressively in addition to advising the demonstrators not to use violence.
The statewide protest, which began on Thursday in Abuja and other parts of the country, aims to bring attention to the problems of hunger and inept leadership.
