Award-winning singer Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, and his mother Bose Ogulu have been the target of allegations from a Nigerian woman going by the name Uju Stella.
Stella claimed to be pregnant for Burna Boy in an interview that went viral online, but the artist declined to accept full responsibility for both her and the unborn child.
They had been together for three years, but she claimed that once she told Burna Boy she was expecting his child, their relationship took a bad turn.
She disclosed that even though she was expecting her grandchild, singer Bose Ogulu, who also serves as her manager, had fired her. Stella revealed that she went through hell to care for the pregnancy, which left her depressed and frightened.
Stella claimed that she was left homeless and in despair because Burna Boy’s family had threatened her. She miscarried as a result of many health issues and frustrations.
“Burna boy and I were in a relationship for 3 years, I got pregnant for him and his mum dismissed me despite knowing I was carrying her grandchild” she said after their three years of dating. “Then burna got angry and started telling me that he wasn’t responsible for the child even though he accepted before then.”
After rapper Speed Darlington was arrested by Burna Boy for defamation and after he claimed that American rapper P.Diddy had greased him up, this interview went viral on the internet.
The fans couldn’t wait to hear Burna Boy’s version of events. Many said the woman was just after influential people.
