According to reports, Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has signed with Spanish club Sevilla. The 27-year-old agreed to a two-year deal with a one-year extension option.
Iheanacho is the fifth summer signing for Sevilla. The striker’s contract expired last month, thus he left Premier League team Leicester City.
Iheanacho played 232 games for the Foxes, tallying 34 assists and 61 goals. In Sevilla, he met up with his fellow countryman, Chidera Ejuke.
