Former Arsenal player Ray Parlour has praised the Gunners’ acquisition of Riccard Calafiori, calling it a “good acquisition.”
The 22-year-old Bologna defender’s deal was revealed by Arsenal on Monday. Calafiori and the Premier League North London team inked a five-year contract.
“I think he’s a good acquisition. 22 years old, [and] he looks like he’s really hungry to get better,” Parlour told the Mirror.
“He’s gonna be under a good coach now, we have seen a lot of players improve under Mikel Arteta, so now he’s just gotta get his head down.”
“I like his attitude, he’s very confident from the quotes I have seen.”
